Where they started
A new business with stock to sell and nowhere to show it.
- No website, only a domain bought through Squarespace
- The owner runs it alongside a full time job
- Fish also sell in person, so stock changes without warning
Case study · Vault Aquatics
Vault Aquatics sells rare and premium tropical fish from Okehampton in Devon. They had a domain name, a logo and no website. We took it from nothing to a working shop window.

A new business with stock to sell and nowhere to show it.
We designed the site around how the business really works, not how a shop template assumes it does.

What we built
Each fish has a photo, size and price, and is marked available, reserved or sold.
Every listing opens WhatsApp with the fish already named, so a fish that sold in person is never paid for twice.
The owner adds fish, changes prices and edits the homepage words himself, from his phone.
Each listing has its own page, so people searching for a species can land straight on it.
Nationwide live fish delivery and local collection, explained before anyone has to ask.
The existing domain was kept and pointed at the new site. No builder subscription.
Where it is now
Vault Aquatics now has a site the owner updates in minutes, and customers who message him already knowing which fish they want.
